Mental Health Support for Front Line Workers

MADO Healthcare is proud to share the following message of support and resource from our Community Mental Health Partner, NAMI Chicago. We continue to recognize the fortitude and commitment every member of MADO’s staff has, providing care to some of the most vulnerable. Managing and maintaining one’s mental health and wellbeing is important everyday and always, but perhaps most especially during this unprecedented Global Pandemic. Thank you to front line and essential workers here at MADO and across the globe!

“To our friends working on the front lines:

In this uncertain time, while many talk about the monotony of working from home or the increase in family time— you still get dressed, go out and serve our community every day.

The time to process the stress and trauma you face is now, not later. If we are going to continue working as helpers on the other side of this crisis, we cannot rely on adrenaline alone to carry us through.

NAMI Chicago is here to help. Our confidential, virtual support groups for health care workers and front line professionals are a safe place to talk, listen and think things through. Groups are free, but registration is required.

Join us by Zoom or phone: (register here for an upcoming meeting)

  • Mondays 6 – 7pm
  • Wednesdays 12 – 1pm
  • Thursdays 3 – 4pm
  • En Espanol: 4/23 6-8pm

Want to talk and process one-on-one? Call a mental health clinician on our free Helpline, 7 days a week at (833) NAMI-CHI / (833) 626-4244. We’re honored to take your call.
