On December 29, 2020, MADO Healthcare received our first round of COVID-19 vaccines. A number of clients and staff received the first dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine at MADO Healthcare Buena Park. This year has thrust everyone across the globe into an unprecedented time. The speed with which this vaccine was developed is a testament to the extraordinary science and technology that dedicated scientists, researchers, epidemiologists, and doctors across the globe have worked tirelessly to create; ensuring the vaccine’s safety, efficacy, and availability. Our frontline workers and clients have proved to be heroes every single day this past year. Thanks to the kind and caring staff of Walgreens Pharmacy for administering these first doses to the MADO Healthcare community. This miraculous first step proves there is much hope on the horizon in the continued fight against this global pandemic.
