MADO Healthcare CEO, Peter O’Brien, Sr. was the recipient of the Haymarket Center’s 2019 Visionary Award. Founded in 1975, Chicago’s Haymarket Center aids people with substance use disorders in their recovery by providing comprehensive behavioral health solutions. MADO Healthcare is proud to join with Haymarket Center as a community partner in the shared mission to provide a continuum of care, services and support to so many throughout the city. Peter’s vision is to forge forward with the quest to support the practice and expansion of person-centered programs. This vision follows those who have mental illness throughout their healthcare journey including hospitalization, rehabilitation, and community care. Haymarket’s award reflects the hard work, dedication, care and support that all of the MADO Healthcare employees, at all of our facilities, provide to our clients each and every day. The award also recognizes the ground breaking work accomplished through the Kennedy Forum on Mental Health and Addiction Illinois – a group which Peter supports and serves as chairman.
