MADO Healthcare continues to prioritize the safety of our clients, residents and employees in response to the recent outbreak of respiratory illness by a coronavirus, COVID-19. Over the last two weeks, MADO Healthcare has implemented recommendations from the Federal Government, State of Illinois and City of Chicago to mitigate risks for all those that are part of the MADO family. We are grateful and proud of all of our employees for their fortitude and dedication in their efforts to provide care, food, safety and wellness to all those in our care.
As the spread of this virus continues to unfold, MADO Healthcare leadership is hosting a mandatory daily Coronavirus briefing to ensure frequently changing guidance from Federal, State and City authorities informs our protocols and approaches. Clients and residents are screened daily, employees are instructed to stay home if showing any symptoms of being sick and they are screened at every shift. We have increased cleaning and disinfecting in all facilities in accordance with CDC guidelines, cancelled community trips, restricted visitors and we screen all essential visitors upon entry.
These are challenging times. MADO Healthcare is working diligently to provide every client and resident a clean, safe living environment with minimized risk during this unprecedented pandemic. We will post updates regularly on our website.
