MADO Healthcare is proud to have been named the 2016 Employer of the year by Thresholds. This past September George Terzakis, Thresholds Employment Coordinator, and Kimberly Mailey, Thresholds Vice President of Clinical Operations, presented MADO Healthcare employees, Randy Walker, Annette Brandt and Tina Menier with the award at a luncheon.
Through care, employment, advocacy, and housing, Thresholds assists and inspires people with mental illnesses to reclaim their lives. MADO Healthcare is proud to collaborate with Thresholds in providing care for persons in Illinois living with mental illness. MADO Healthcare has partnered with the Supported Employment Program since June 2016 to provide meaningful and competitive jobs to Thresholds members. MADO Healthcare was seeking to fill a new Resident Escort position and since then, MADO Healthcare has hired 15 Thresholds members for positions including Receptionist, Medical Records Coordinator, Dietary Aide, Housekeeping Associate and Rehabilitation Services Associate.
As the year comes to a close, MADO looks forward to 2018 with continued opportunities to partner with members of the Thresholds community. We are honored to be recognized by this organization with their Employer of the Year Award.
