Executive Director

MADO Healthcare – Buena Park

MADO Healthcare—Buena Park is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Executive Director. We are a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility located in Chicago. Our mission is to support each client in their pursuit to achieve individual goals of wellness.

Working closely with and under the supervision of the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for oversight and management of all facility departments and functions which include social services, nursing, building maintenance, housekeeping, financial, and administrative departments. You must also maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and carry out the policies and practices established by MADO Healthcare.

The Executive Director must have the ability to manage all components of a health care business which include: the balance and administration of the budget, effective management of 60 + employees, and effective communication skills (written and verbal). Our ideal candidate is guided by their clinical vision and desire to help people with serious mental illness while maintaining the daily operations of the facility. You should be knowledgeable in the foundations of personal Recovery and wellness and be willing and able to promote the execution of this concept into daily operations.

This position requires an LCSW or LCPC.

MADO Healthcare operates three specialized mental health rehabilitation facilities and one nursing care facility in the city of Chicago. MADO Healthcare- Buena Park is seeking caring and compassionate CNAs to work in a busy yet friendly environment. CNAs must be certified in the State of Illinois, have no criminal history, practice good judgment, and be willing to learn. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: prompting and assisting clients with ADLs, prompting for medication and group times, rounds and room checks, and ensuring the overall safety of the clients.

We are seeking part-time RSA’s for the overnight shift- An individual who provides services under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional and who possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent.

We are seeking a part-time Mental Health Professional (MHP’s) for the overnight shift, covering 7, 8 hour shifts, in a pay period – An individual who provides services under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional and who possesses one of the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a human service field
  • OR a certificate of psychiatric rehabilitation from a DHS-approved program plus a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years experience in providing mental health services;
  • OR a Recovery Support Specialist certification
  • OR a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 5 years supervised clinical experience in mental health or human services.

Cook’s Aide

MADO Healthcare Buena Park (formerly Margaret Manor North) is a mental health facility in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood that prides itself in providing care and treatment to adults with psychiatric illness. We are committed to providing a supportive environment; as well as an ongoing plan for continued healthcare and improved mental health. We value recovery and it is our mission to support each client in their pursuit of wellness.

Our interdisciplinary team is seeking a part-time Cook’s Aide position, covering 7, 6 hour shifts, in a pay period.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the cook with daily meal and snack preparation.
  • Various kitchen cleaning duties, including cleaning and prepping dishes for meals before and after meals.
  • Serving food to clients in a cafeteria setting.
  • Monitoring meal times including distribution of meal tickets to clients.
  • Dietary documentation.
  • MADO Healthcare strives to serve our clients’ meals in a therapeutic and recovery-based setting. We seek staff who possesses excellent customer service skills and are able to participate in a team environment. Compassionate and caring candidates should apply.

Qualified candidates will:

MADO Healthcare – Douglas Park

MADO Healthcare- Douglas Park operates as a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in the city of Chicago. We are seeking a Care Manager for a residential treatment facility serving adults living with serious mental illnesses in Chicago’s Douglas Park neighborhood. A Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field is required; Master’s Degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills needed.

Care managers work in MADO Healthcare- Douglas Park’s Rehabilitation and Recovery Program. Hours are 3p-11p Tuesday thru Saturday. As well as MADO Healthcare-Douglas Park’s Crisis Stabilization Unit and Transitional Living Program, day shift. This position may require occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing assessments, care plans and quarterly reviews
  • Crisis intervention
  • Facilitating groups
  • Teaching clients community skills
  • Discharge planning.

Our MADO Healthcare – Douglas Park center is seeking a cook to join their team. The Dietary Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of all food served by the Dietary Department. The Dietary Cook
must prepare and serve all food according to the menus and recipes provided by the facility, as well as in compliance with city and state regulations. Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information and maintain courteous relationships with clients, families, supervisors and visitors of the facility. Candidate with mental health recovery experience is strongly preferred but not required. Extensive training will be provided upon hire.

Maintenance Worker

MADO Healthcare – Old Town

Our MADO Healthcare – Old Town center is seeking a full-time maintenance worker to cover the 7-3:30 shift with some weekend shifts required. Applicant must possess good communication skills to maintain courteous relationships with clients, families, supervisors and visitors of the facility.  The maintenance worker will perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of the facility and grounds including:  carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry and painting as well as maintaining the grounds in a clean and orderly manner. Duties will include: mowing, weeding, shoveling snow and salting icy walkways. The maintenance worker will assist the supervisor in performing tasks such as fire drills, generator testing, checklists and other duties as assigned. MADO Healthcare operates as one of three specialized mental health rehabilitation facilities in the city of Chicago.  Our MADO Healthcare – Old Town center is seeking full-time security personnel to cover 3pm-11pm shifts & overnight shifts, 7pm-7:30am with alternating weekend shifts required.  The Security/Receptionist works as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure the safety of clients and the premises. Responsibilities include: monitors the entrance and departure of employees, clients & visitors, maintains telecommunications system, reviews surveillance camera feeds, responds to alarms, codes and critical incidents, conducts hourly rounds, reports irregularities in safety conditions or client behavior to the person in charge, inspects bags of persons entering or leaving the facility, and assists with emergency situations.  Must be free of a criminal background that is a Disqualifying Offense as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health
