Our MADO Healthcare Buena Park location is seeking caring and compassionate CNAs to work in a busy yet friendly environment. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

MADO Healthcare – Buena Park

MADO Healthcare operates three specialized mental health rehabilitation facilities and one nursing care facility in the city of Chicago. Our MADO Healthcare Buena Park location is seeking a caring and compassionate part-time LPN to cover Friday 2nd shift (3PM-11:30PM) and weekend shifts. LPN license must be in good standing in the State of Illinois. LPNs with mental health recovery experience is preferred but not required.

Dietary Manager

MADO Healthcare – Buena Park

MADO Healthcare Uptown is a mental health facility in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. We pride ourselves in providing care and treatment to adults with psychiatric illness. We provide a supportive environment; as well as an ongoing plan for continued healthcare and improved mental health. We value mental health recovery and it is our mission to support each client in their individual pursuit of wellness.

Our interdisciplinary team is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager. The position is a full-time day shift. The majority of the required hours will be on weekdays, however some hours may be required outside of business hours.

Qualified candidates will:

Group Leader

MADO Healthcare – Buena Park

MADO Healthcare – Buena Park is a mental health rehabilitation facility located on the north side of Chicago. Our interdisciplinary team is seeking a Group Leader to work with adults living with mental illness. Our mission is to support each client in their pursuit to achieve their individual goals of wellness. The Group Leader is responsible for leading therapeutic groups for our clients, maintaining documentation, supporting clients in creating and maintaining wellness, and any other appropriate tasks necessary to facilitate a Recovery community. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a residential setting with individuals living with mental illness.

The Group Leader will be responsible to:

  • Announce groups at appropriate times (10 mins to the hour and on the hour)
  • Prepare necessary group materials during prep time (20-min periods prior to initial group announcement) or previous day
  • Provide clients with all materials necessary for adequate group participation (e.g. handouts, paper, pencils, clipboards, sign-in sheets, etc.)
  • Begin groups on time
  • Compose and display group room rules in the group room
  • Review group room rules with clients, as necessary
  • Ensure all participants sign in upon entering group
  • Begin group by reviewing and discussing the material from the previous session
  • Describe rationale/goal for current group session
  • Complete discussion and/or activity as described by the module
  • Engage clients and encourage active participation from all in attendance
  • Ask open-ended questions to increase input from group members
  • Encourage group members to remain on current discussion topic * Review session topic and rationale
  • Ensure there is adequate time to field questions from clients regarding the current discussion topic
  • Provide incentive coupons to each client for their attendance at group

Overnight Behavioral Rehabilitation Services Associate (RSA)

We are seeking part-time RSA’s for the overnight shift – An individual who provides services under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional and who possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Provide xare and compassion in delivery of care

Overnight Mental Health Professional (MHP)

We are seeking 2 part-time Mental Health Professionals (MHP’s) for the overnight shift – An individual who provides services under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional and who possesses one of the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a human service field
  • OR a certificate of psychiatric rehabilitation from a DHS-approved program plus a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years experience in providing mental health services;
  • OR a Recovery Support Specialist certification
  • OR a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 5 years supervised clinical experience in mental health or human services.

MADO Healthcare – Douglas Park

MADO Healthcare- Douglas Park operates as a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in the city of Chicago. We are seeking two Care Managers for a residential treatment facility serving adults living with serious mental illnesses in Chicago’s Douglas Park neighborhood. A Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field is required; Master’s Degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills needed.

One Care Manager opening is in MADO Healthcare- Douglas Park’s Rehabilitation and Recovery Program. Hours are 3p-11p Tuesday thru Saturday.

One Care Manager opening is in MADO Healthcare-Douglas Park’s Crisis Stabilization Unit and Transitional Living Program, day shift. This position may require occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing assessments, care plans and quarterly reviews
  • Crisis intervention
  • Facilitating groups
  • Teaching clients community skills
  • Discharge planning.

Typical duties include but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing and buffing the floors and washing and cleaning the rooms and common areas throughout the facility. Our MADO Healthcare – Douglas Park center is seeking a cook to join their team. The Dietary Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of all food served by the Dietary Department. The Dietary Cook
must prepare and serve all food according to the menus and recipes provided by the facility, as well as in compliance with city and state regulations. Old Town center is seeking CNAs as well as RSAs to facilitate recovery and re-entry into the community for those with mental illness. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: crisis de-escalation, assisting clients with ADLs, prompting for medication and group times, rounds, room checks, ensuring the overall safety of the clients and working collaboratively with the rest of the healthcare team. Experience working with persons with mental illness is preferred. Maintenance Worker

MADO Healthcare – Old Town

Our MADO Healthcare – Old Town center is seeking a full-time maintenance worker to cover the 7-3:30 shift with some weekend shifts required. Applicant must possess good communication skills to maintain courteous relationships with clients, families, supervisors and visitors of the facility.  The maintenance worker will perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of the facility and grounds including:  carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry and painting as well as maintaining the grounds in a clean and orderly manner. Duties will include: mowing, weeding, shoveling snow and salting icy walkways. The maintenance worker will assist the supervisor in performing tasks such as fire drills, generator testing, checklists and other duties as assigned. Security Receptionist

MADO Healthcare – Old Town

MADO Healthcare operates as one of three specialized mental health rehabilitation facilities in the city of Chicago. Our MADO Healthcare – Old Town center is seeking full-time security personnel to cover overnight shifts, 7pm-7:30am with alternating weekend shifts required. The Security/Receptionist works as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure the safety of clients and the premises. Responsibilities include: monitors the entrance and departure of employees, clients & visitors, maintains telecommunications system, reviews surveillance camera feeds, responds to alarms, codes and critical incidents, conducts hourly rounds, reports irregularities in safety conditions or client behavior to the person in charge, inspects bags of persons entering or leaving the facility, and assists with emergency situations.  Must be free of a criminal background that is a Disqualifying Offense as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health
